SOTU Preview
Thanks to Claire Fordham's blog (and specifically this entry), we have an idea of who will be appearing in the new season of State of the Union. Claire's sister, singer-songwriter Julia Fordham, will be appearing alongside Vonda Shepard (of Ally McBeal fame) in a sketch, as will "former top model" Debbie Britt.
And with the turmoil in the financial markets in recent weeks, these words of "Campbell Brown" pretty well sum things up: "Horror -- terror -- horror -- nightmare -- horror -- fear!"

An Emmy for SOTU
The Creative Arts Emmy Awards were handed out last night, and State of the Union has picked up its first Emmy. Sally Craven and Matthew Mungle have won for Makeup for a Single-Camera Series, Non-Prosthetic (episode 2). Congratulations to them both as they (presumably) get ready to apply their handiwork for season 2 of SOTU.
