ICNBYW News

ICNBYW stands for I Could Never Be Your Woman, and the latest news is this: it's now going to be released in "select markets" on February 16, according to FilmJerk. What markets beyond New York and Los Angeles are included in "select", I have no idea. It's being released by Freestyle Releasing, after MGM dropped it.

Update (Feb. 7): Forget February 16; it's now supposed to come out in June.
Further Update (Feb. 8): Forget June; now it's targeted for April 6.
Another Update (Feb. 17): It may be June again. I don't know what to believe now.

CD Re-issue

Stiff Records is kicking off a series of CD reissues beginning in April in the US (in February in Britain). Among the CD's being reissued in this first wave are discs by Wreckless Eric, Rachel Sweet, Dirty Looks, and Any Trouble. Oh yes, also being reissued is Tracey's You Broke My Heart In Seventeen Places.

Update (Jan. 18, 2007): The Be Stiff site has a track listing for all of the reissues. You Broke My Heart... will have five tracks in addition to the 11 on the original album: "Dancing In The Dark", "The B-Side", an extended version of "Move Over Darling", "My Guy" and "Thinking Of Running Away." All of these tracks have previously been released.
