Tracey in Toronto
This past weekend, Tracey was in Toronto promoting her new book on knitting Knit 2 Together, co-authored with Mel Clark (who was also in Toronto). I had thought about traveling up from Detroit, but it was not convenient for me. But I did let my friend, Torontonian Andrew Mitchell (of Tracey Ullman "Go Home" Page fame) know, and he was able to attend one of the events and finally get to meet her. But the reverse was also true: she finally got to meet him and thank him for the great work he's done on his site over the years. Yes, she has followed and still follows our websites. Makes me wish it hadn't been inconvenient to make the drive up the 401 last weekend.... Perhaps someday I'll get my chance.
