RIP Jerry Belson
I saw on the news wires this morning that comedy writer Jerry Belson passed away earlier this week. We Tracey fans will remember him for the work that he did on The Tracey Ullman Show and Tracey Takes On, winning three Emmys as a result. He also contributed to The Dick Van Dyke Show, Gomer Pyle USMC and The Odd Couple, among others.
After seeing this, I can't help but recall the passing of another key TTUS contributor, Ted Bessell. It was 10 years ago this month when I read of his death; I was on vacation in London at the time, and I was sitting in Trafalgar Square reading an international edition of USA Today. Let's remember both of them today.
